Standing Behind A Boat Holding A Paddle

by The Editors on September 4, 2012

Feeling bad that you might miss something at Surf Expo this week? Well, here’s something we wish we missed from Boardworks Surf: it’s a Wake SUP Board. Forget the fact that if you’re surfing behind a boat you don’t need a paddle. Ignore the whole rope thing and there you are standing behind a boat with a paddle. We were, however, left with one question: was that Jeff Baldwin staring in a cameo eating scene?

dude, what are you doing? That was a great chance to say “This is what all sweepers should be doing! It’s the hot new thing! Why waste time in the ocean? Go…NOW!”

This is great news for boat drivers… they never really have to deal with you when you fall off the wake. Just paddle you ass back over!

did you see that leg cross slow-mo action? it was almost like a trick. kind of. but not really. i’m sure this thing is more expensive than a regular wake surf board or whatever you call it, so that should be something people with boats should be excited about. i’m pretty sure that’s the thing they’re really into.

standing behind a boat on a boat with a paddle…redundant but yes TATE is spot on…take it to the lake.
