Westlife Distribution, the new owners of the Matix Clothing brand, are keeping the family together by re-signing Daewon Song, Marc Johnson and Mike Anderson. They’ve also added surfers Turkey Stopnik and JJ Wessels.
Daewon and MJ have been with Matix since the beginning and it was only natural to continue on with the relationship. Mike Anderson plays a key role as well, and each of their signature collections and personal style add a different flavor to each season.

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 4, 2012) – After being purchased by Westlife Distribution in July and moving into a new office in LA, Matix Clothing is back at it, re-signing the brand ambassadors, Daewon Song, Marc Johnson and Mike Anderson as well as professional surfers Turkey Stopnik and JJ Wessels.
Daewon and MJ have been with Matix since the beginning and it was only natural to continue on with the relationship. Mike Anderson plays a key role as well, and each of their signature collections and personal style add a different flavor to each season.
On the coastal side of things, Turkey and JJ are new to the program and will be holding it down in the water. Look for signature collections that include board shorts, shorts, tees, hoodies and accessories from these guys as well.
Brian Dunlap, president of Matix, said, “I’m thrilled with the Westlife transition so far and bringing these guys back onto the program was key. We have long standing relationships and friendships that were important to keep intact, and the brand image will only grow stronger with such a good crew representing for us.”
Matix will be debuting Summer 2013 next week at Surf Expo in Orlando, Florida in booth #464. Come by and say hi to the crew.
