Torquay (Australia) April 12, 2012: Australasian Surf Business (ASB) Magazine and ActionWatch, the premier provider of market intelligence to the U.S. boardsports industry, announced the formation of a joint venture company in Australia. The partnership marks the next step in market intelligence for Australian surf retailers and manufacturers.

The new joint venture company, ActionWatch Oz Pty Ltd, will provide the Australian surf industry with a dramatically enhanced level of market intelligence that will help both retailers and suppliers have increased clarity of consumer shopping trends in the independent surf retail channel. This market insight will enable better decision making and improved profitability, especially through suppliers’ improved understanding of what independent retailers need to better serve their customers.
