Shaun White Goes 4×4 In X Games Pipe

by The Editors on January 30, 2011

Yep. Looks like you can’t stop the man in black. Shaun White proved once again that he is the greatest halfpipe rider in the history of snowboarding no matter what he wears. We were hoping for something a little more dramatic, but White looks good in black.

Scotty Lago jawed his way into second place with Louie Vito dancing into third.

We heard Kazu-san was underscored. On Twitter former X Games announcer Todd Richards said: “Come on? Kazu gets the shaft.”

Final results looked like this:

1. Shaun White 89.00 97.33 46.66 97.33
2. Scotty Lago 92.00 7.00 30.33 92.00
3. Louie Vito 84.00 24.00 87.33 87.33
4 Markus Malin 86.33 44.33 32.66 86.33
5 Kazuhiro Kokubo 82.66 85.00 85.33 85.33
6 Peetu Piiroinen 83.33 45.00 48.33 83.33
7 Mathieu Crepel 64.00 5.66 34.33 64.00
8 Matt Ladley 40.00 38.00 45.66 45.66
