For all the times we’ve heard about people skating long distances, only a few have skateboarded across the United States. Boulder, Colorado’s Rael Saltman Oswald wants to be one of them after reportedly being inspired by the film Forrest Gump.
The good news: he’s not trying to raise money for anything. He’s simply trying to remind everyone how great it would be to have a bike trail across America specifically built for non-motorized forms of transportation.

love the story. i think its a great idea to connect east and west usa via bike path. he should sell his board on boardjoy.com after he is done with his trek.
