A 48-year-old woman at Ontario Canada’s Beaver Valley Ski Club has died from injuries she sustained after hitting a tree while snowboarding Wednesday, March 17, 2010.
Witnesses say she was snowboarding on the hill when she left the slope and entered a wooded area where she hit a tree.
Police say the woman was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
