These Dragon APX Goggles Look Dope

by The Editors on September 13, 2011

Our goggle requirements have always been pretty simple: if the lenses keep branches, snow, and ice from hitting us in the eyeballs without fogging and we can see out of them without squinting, we’re stoked. That said, these new Dragon APX winter eye coverings look pretty dope.

Here’s what Dragon says:

. . . the APX goggle has proven to withstand the harshest, most technically demanding conditions. The flagship product of the line, the APX goggle, literally redefines what a goggle can be with our new patent pending Infinity Lens Technology. By completely eliminating the frame profile with this innovative lens system, the APX goggle has maximum peripheral vision and the highest level of performance. LESS IS MORE…APX

The Supra 9/11 Commemorative Pack

by The Editors on September 6, 2011

Supra-Commemorative-Pack

It’s a set of shoe style we’ve never worn, but we know there are some people who’ll be after this limited edition Supra double pack featuring the Skytop II and the Society.

The uppers on both shoes are enveloped in varying shades of solemn, grey Nubuck, trimmed with black kidskin leather accents. Each style features a never-before-seen, single wrap, white honeycomb foxing, and a grey sole. Custom sock liners read, “Never Forget,” and each comes with an NYFD inspired hang tag. Only 413 pairs of each shoe were produced, and they are sequentially numbered on the interior of each shoe. Proceeds from the Commemorative Pack will be donated to charity.

The commemorative pack will be available at Suprafootwear.com and only nine shops worldwide. Follow the jump for more info. [click to continue…]

Stance Socks x Kid Creature

by The Editors on August 21, 2011

Kidxstance

Stance has added another artist to their Fall 2011 Artist Series with a collection of socks in collaboration with Kid Creature.

Calvin Saxton, a.k.a. Kid Creature, is a 11 year old kid with a huge love for life. His early childhood was hampered by severe allergies and asthma. Calvin used to plead that his parent let him surf because he actually felt much better and healthier when he was in the water. He’s been in the water ever since, becoming an avid surfer, which helps tremendously in those bouts with asthma.

Cal donates 10 percent of the profits from Kid Creature to help fight cycstic fibrosis, so buying his Stance socks will send some money to a good cause. For all the details, follow the jump. [click to continue…]

Nixon’s Heaviest Teahupoo Wave Watch

by The Editors on August 16, 2011

Wta Tahiti Large Web

Seems like these Nixon WTA watches are getting better and better. For intance, this Teahupoo Magnacon SS watch that goes to the surfer who catches the heaviest wave during the Billabong Pro Teahupoo is worth a reported $10,000 and it features the following:

. . . a custom engraved caseback, a Swiss tide movement, 60 rubies around the bezel, four two-millimeter decorative black diamonds on the dial, and 24 black diamonds on the dial for hour indices.

There are probably people off the street who would paddle out at chopes for a watch like that. And what a great game show that would make. [click to continue…]

M3E9999Slightly slimmer, foul-mouthed, former filmmaker Kevin Smith has collaborated with etnies on a limited edition etnies Smeaker.

With the SModcast “Have a Week” and “Forgeticus!” signature quotes stitched on the heel and the side heel panel of the shoe, matching the SMEAKER logo on the tongue, and a classic black and white photo of Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier on the footbeds, the black etnies Jameson 2.5 SMEAKER provides style and fan loyalty.

If you’re bummed you missed San Diego Comic-Con this year and you know what the SModcast is, then this may be just the shoe for all five of you. Follow the jump for the details. [click to continue…]
