July 22, 2011 (Lake Forest, CA) – As the Comic-Con 2011 festivities began yesterday, Kevin Smith and etnies, a global action sports footwear and apparel company, held a private launch party for 150 fans at the El Dorado Cocktail Lounge in San Diego to celebrate the etnies x Kevin Smith collaboration shoes, called the SMEAKER, designed with inspiration from Kevin’s famous SModcast.
This VIP event included complimentary beer from Pabst Blue Ribbon, shoe giveaways, quality time with Kevin Smith, and a live taping of his popular podcast, SModcast, with long-time film associate and co-host Scott Mosier.
With etnies’ dedicated following and Kevin Smith’s ongoing projects, including his podcasts, films and comics, their connection of fans has sparked the SMEAKER shoe collaboration in celebration of Kevin Smith’s SModcast.
The etnies x Kevin Smith SMEAKER launch party and SModcast went off thanks to Kevin and Scott’s hilarious commentary and all the die-hard etnies and Kevin Smith fans who were committed enough to win tickets for the private event.
