Another Bad Day In Boardparadise

by The Editors on August 19, 2009

BoardparadiseIt would appear that Greensboro, North Carolina based online and brick and mortar retailer Boardparadise.com has been forced into “involuntary Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings,” according to a story in The Business Journal.

Crossroad Sports Inc., the corporate name of Triad-based action sports equipment and apparel retailer Boardparadise, has entered involuntary Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings following complaints from four out-of-state creditors who say they’re owed more than $785,000. . . Burton claims it is owed about $563,000. . . Sole Technology Inc., based in Lake Forest, Calif., joined the petition Aug. 7, saying it is owed about $113,000. . . Robert M. Weinstein, a Greensboro attorney representing the four creditors, said Crossroad Sports has until Aug. 27 to respond, which the company had not done as of Wednesday.

And there are even more creditors interested in getting paid . . .doesn’t sound good.

Looks like my credit I was waiting for won’t be coming. They screwed me out of $245! Another case of ordered item “in stock” and then magically its not in stock and get forced into a store credit that I did not want. I actually got through to them and was promised a refund to my credit card. That was July 28th of 2009.

Cory, just file a dispute with your credit card, with the bankruptcy filing, they should have no problem issuing your money back to you.

The former owner of BP is back in business somehow, not only is he operating “BPRIDESHOP.COM” but he also is running a site called AXISRIDESHOP.COM, spread the word, its the SAME shit scam he’s been running for years. its called bait and switch…….he sells you shit he doesn’t have, has his so called customer service reps talk you into something different. oh yea, and then he doesn’t pay the vendors that make the industry what it is and screws the local sales reps out of their commissions. support people who pay bills, don’t shop at either of these sites and spread the word.

It seems like most of the negative feedback on here about boardparadise is from the same guy. This guy is leaving all the same comments on alot of our other forums. Get over it dude. It sucks if you had a bad experience, but I’m sure the guy who owned it fell into bad times in this recession like most people. No need to roast him over and over. How much time do you spend on this anyway? I never had a problem with the things I ordered. Crazy cheap prices too. It was pretty awesome. I will def be checking out the new site and will let you guys know if there are problems.

ride4life must be friends with Josh (owner of BP). His post makes no sense.
