This afternoon at 5 PM Tony Hawk let his Twitter army know that he would be at Wahoo’s Fish Taco in Encinitas, California handing out free tickets to see the invite-only premiere of the new Birdhouse Skateboard’s tour video It’s Always Sunnies In Australia at the world famous La Paloma Theatre.
We decided to send a scribe on the chase for tickets just to see how the whole thing went off. Follow the jump for more photos.

Surfer magazine photo editor Steve Sherman was five minutes away picking up his kid from soccer practice and heard about the giveaway on the radio. “I figured we were right here. We might as well stop by,” he said.
After getting tickets everyone rolled to the La Paloma to catch the show.

Apparently this is what you start looking like after working at 900 Films for a while. Producer, Senior camera operator Jared Prindle would know. But the film looked great. Even the rainy parts. . .
