On Thursday, October 24th, The Hundreds will join forces with legendary snowboarding brand 686 for a collaboration a decade in the making. Two Los Angeles-based brands who have been in the game for a long time, uniting to create something timeless for the snow and the street.
In designing and producing the The Hundreds X 686 Collection, both teams looked back at their most cherished era of snowboarding, the 90s. Snowboarding was still in its infancy, still finding its way in a crowded action sports world. While there were growing pains, there were also bright flashes of brilliance, with skate and surf culture shining through in the snowboard edits being made by upstart brands and the pioneers of the sport. These were the moments we wanted to encapsulate with these new pieces.
