We missed it, but yesterday was Mickey Muñoz’s 70th birthday party at Doheny State Beach. According to the OC Register the party was the work of the Doheny Longboard Association, the San Onofre Surf Club and the Hawaiian Surf Association.
Guests [weren’t] supposed to bring gifts for Muñoz. Instead, Muñoz said a donation to the Doheny fundraiser will suffice.
We hope the day went well for everyone of the 1,000 guests.
