The skateboarding world was rocked last weekend (May 11-12, 2019) as news spread that Enjoi pro, and Thrasher Magazine King of the Road standout Ben Raemers has died, according to a post from Louie Barletta on Enjoi’s Instagram feed. He was 28 years old.
Ben Raemers was last active on his Instagram account on April 28. . . He was from Walton-on-the-Naze, a small town in Essex, England, but was based in the United States,” according to a story on Monsters & Critics. “He appeared on the cover of Thrasher in 2010 as his career continued in an upward trajectory. . . Ben Raemers was not publicly known to have suffered from any medical conditions that could explain his untimely passing. . . So far there is no official cause of death.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and the entire skateboarding community.
