We don’t normally follow the shoe wars, but it’s good to see people like Brian taking control of their personal brand message and putting the word out themselves.

Don’t know if it applies here, but I heard from the team managers of a couple of companies that the “suits” are targeting team riders as a way to save money. Word is that they are looking for any reason not to renew contracts.

…Of course the same people ordering cuts will be the first ones to cry foul when Hollister, Target and other non-endemics move in to snatch up athletes and start building teams of their own.
