2017 Vans Park Series Wold Championships

Anyone who’s been watching their Instafeeds lately knows that nearly everyone it skateboarding is on their way to Shanghai, China for the 2017 Vans Park Series World Championships finale which goes down this weekend.

Located in the world-famous Bund waterfront area in central Shanghai, China, the 2017 VPS World Championships will pit skateboarding’s elite pros against select VPS Continental Champions to present the greatest showcase of men’s and women’s park terrain skateboarding talent the world has ever seen in a custom-designed and purpose-built, VPS-certified park terrain competition course. This year’s World Championships park course design highlights a surplus of creative features including a center island extension, a kicker into laid back bank, a round flat bar, big hip into the deep end, huge jump box and more, all of which is built directly next to the mesmerizing backdrop of the Shanghai city skyline.

With a premium, first-class, live international broadcast, the Vans Park Series will offer an exciting global viewing experience complete with live action commentary in English, Mandarin and Portuguese.
