by The Editors on May 24, 2017

The Vans Park Series returns to Malmö, Sweden’s Kroksbäck Skatepark this weekend and you can watch it all live online.

VPS Men’s Pro Tour event semis and finals will be broadcast live on Saturday, May 27 as VPS Select Pros like Pedro Barros, Raven Tershy, Ishod Wair and current World Champion Alex Sorgente battle it out against top qualifying Men’s Pro Tour challengers like Tom Schaar, Murilo Peres, Willy Lara and more in the third stop on the road to Shanghai, China, park terrain skateboarding’s official VPS World Championships on September 23, 2017.

This is becoming one of our favorite skate contests on the web because we just can’t get enough of announcers Chris Cote and Neal Hendrix. Nope we can’t. For all the details on the Vans Park Series, please follow the jump.

Preceding Saturday’s webcasted main event, once again Malmö, Sweden’s Kroksbäck Skatepark will play host on Friday to another historic event in the evolution of global park terrain competition with the VPS Europa Continental Championships and the official crowning of skateboarding’s first ever men’s and women’s European park terrain skateboarding champions. VPS event attendees will be treated this week to exciting performances from regional heroes such as Rune Glifberg (Denmark), Sam Beckett (UK), Vincent Matheron (France) and Martino Cattaneo (Switzerland) along with ten qualifying female competitors including Amelia Brodka (Poland) and Stephanie Nurding (UK). Introduced this year, the VPS Continental Championships provide an open path for regional talent to compete alongside qualifying VPS Tour Pros in the World Championships and a chance to earn a spot on the 2018 VPS Pro Tour.

The Kroksbäck Skatepark is the world’s first VPS-certified permanent park terrain competition course and was donated in 2016 by the Vans Park Series to the community of Malmö, Sweden on the occasion of the inaugural park terrain skateboarding VPS World Championships for leading the world with their progressive support of the city’s youth through public skateboard programming and initiatives.
