Lost Art In Stereo By Christian Cooper

by The Editors on March 24, 2017

The word from Stereo Skateboard’s Chris Pastras and Jason Lee is as follows:

Ethan Fowler came on to ride for Stereo in 1994 when A Visual Sound was pretty much in the can and finished, so we gave him and Tobin Yelland some Super 8 film, and a two week deadline. The result was one of the most fluid, powerful, and stylish video parts of all time. Watching Ethan skate during that time was like watching Jazz great Thelonious Monk at the piano, improvisational genius.” – Chris “Dune” Pastras

“Those early Stereo days were some of the most enjoyable times of my life, and having guys like Carl and Ethan around and skating and creating with us made what we were doing that much more special. Two of my all-time favorite skateboarders, and I’m honored that after all these years we are still collaborating.’” – Jason Lee
