About the NIDECKER Group
Driven by innovation and passion for action sports for over five generations, the company was founded in 1887 in Switzerland by Henri Nidecker I. Family owned, Nidecker is the oldest European snowboard brand that began as master woodworkers, starting with wooden wheels before moving on to making sleds, alpine skis (1912) and launched snowboards in 1984 – leader of alpin/carving during the ‘90s.

In 2008, Henri IV gave the key of the company to his sons Henry V, Xavier and Cédric Nidecker, and they evolved the company to the NIDECKER Group. In partnership with professional athletes like Jeremy Jones, Romain de Marchi, DCP, JP Solberg, JF Pelchat or Laird Hamilton, they created brands the following years: Jones Snowboards, YES Snowboards, Now Snowboard Bindings and Laird Stand Up Paddle at the same time as evolving their own brand, Nidecker. Today, the NIDECKER Group, with its leading brands, stands as a global group of action sports for both winter and summer.
