Oakley Get’s All Over Sage Kotsenburg

Oakley has landed slopestyle gold medalist Sage Kotsenburg in a “multi-year partnership.” Sage will be wearing everything Oakley including goggles, outerwear, eyewear, helmets, and most likely some stuff they haven’t even invented yet.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sage to the Oakley family. Sage embodies the Oakley brand as an athlete looking to push the limits of what is possible,” said Cuan Petersen, Oakley’s Vice President of Sports Marketing. “For decades, we have created industry leading eyewear, goggles, outerwear, and most recently helmets, for some of the most recognized snow athletes in the world. We look forward to pushing our innovations and technologies forward in partnership with Sage.”

The Olympic gold medalist to wear Oakley goggles, outerwear, eyewear and helmets in head-to-toe partnership

June 14, 2016, Foothill Ranch, California: Today, Oakley announced the signing of first ever slopestyle snowboarding gold medalist, Sage Kotsenburg, to a multi-year partnership effective immediately. Sage will ride in Oakley goggles, outerwear and helmets, and wear Oakley eyewear and lifestyle apparel off the hill, in the head-to-toe partnership.

Sage is at the forefront of snowboarding. He made a global name for himself at the 2014 Winter Olympics becoming the first ever slopestyle snowboarding gold medalist. Following the Sochi Olympics, Sage received numerous accolades including, Male Olympian of the Sochi Games voted by Team USA and the ESPY for Best Male U.S. Olympian.

“Oakley offers the best products and innovations for the sport and I am stoked to partner with the team,” said Sage Kotsenburg. “I can’t wait to defy new heights in snowboarding together.”

Sage will be featured in the Oakley Prizm Snow marketing campaigns, participate in Oakley snow activations and make appearances for the brand.

Sage joins a roster of world-class Oakley snowboarding athletes including Jamie Anderson, Mikkel Bang, Eero Ettala, Torstein Horgmo, Chloe Kim, Mark McMorris, Nicolas Muller, Stale Sandbech, Sven Thorgren, Seb Toutant and Shaun White.
