PowderJet Snowboards is going to cut down on production labor costs by offering weekend “build your own” classes in their York, Maine factory. Here’s their pitch:

Join us for the weekend at our shop in beautiful York, Maine, and build your own PowderJet Snowboard. We’ve expanded your options this year so that you can build exactly the board you’ve been dreaming of: custom nose and tail shapes, edges or no edges, p-tex base, custom graphics, powder or kick tail profile, even a split board! You design it, and together we’ll make it happen.

The classes run one weekend a month from May to December 2015 and cost $695. There are only six spots each weekend so sign up early. For all the details, click the link.
