Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) wants you to be your own biggest health advocate by downloading the free B4BC App for Apple and Android devices today. The recently released mobile app allows you to set a personalized automatic reminder to help you maintain your monthly Breast Self-Exam (BSE), one of the most effective means for early detection of breast cancer. And for those who aren’t sure of the proper technique, the Check One, Two® guide provides a step-by-step tutorial on how to perform your own BSE. . . For the active girl on the go, the app has the latest B4BC info with updates on B4BC programs and events, plus tons of health and wellness content by B4BC’s contributors and team riders including pro snowboarders Elena Hight, Jamie Anderson, Kimmy Fasani, Megan Pischke; pro surfers Sage Erickson, Malia Manuel, Courtney Conlogue and more.

Redondo Beach, Calif. (September 3, 2014) – Breast Cancer Awareness Month is right around the corner – have you done your monthly breast self-exam (BSE) yet? According to Johns Hopkins Medical Center, “40% of diagnosed breast cancer is detected by women who feel a lump on their own bodies, so establishing a regular breast self-exam is very important.”
