Seems lately there’s nothing more retro than a magazine. And Matix and picked up on that groove and produced a collection of shirts and skateboards that repurpose the iconographic 1970s Skateboarder Magazine cover images and use them art on their new Skateboarder Mag clothing collection.
We’re not sure how the kids are going to feel about clothing featuring the logo of a magazine that went out of business less than a year ago, but there will be a few rad dads who’ll likely tear up at the memories that these cover images bring back — Rector gloves, Road Rider wheels, and Logan Earth Skis.
The good news for dads is that it’s all for sale right now on the Matix website. Shirts go for $38, tanks $28 and decks for $55. The covers dress shirt may be our favorite. To check out the entire collection, follow the jump.
