Danny Way Starts Racing Cars, Too

by The Editors on March 25, 2014

Way_rallySkateboarding legend Danny Way will apparently be following DC Shoe co co-founder Ken Block’s automobile racing tracks this week as Way drops in on rallycross racing  in “a Suzuki Swift at the first round of the British Rallycross Championship at Lydden Hill,”  according to a story on The Checkered Flag.

Way, X Games Gold Medalist for both Big Air and MegaRail and Multiple World Record Holder. . . His new target is to to challenge himself further in the direction of rallycross. With his ultimate goal being the FIA World Rallycross Championship.

What is a Suzuki Swift anyway? It has been said that cars are the biggest reason kids give up skateboarding after they turn 16. Guess some kids just get a later start than others. We have no doubt that Way will be winning races in no time. The dude is gifted.
