Sheridan, Arkansas:
Arkansas State Police say a Sheridan teen was killed Wednesday while riding a skateboard.
Troopers say a 14-year-old was skateboarding with a friend on Highway 46, when he was hit by a Jeep. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Jeep’s driver says as he rounded a curve, he saw the two teens on skateboards in his lane. The driver swerved, but the teen apparently also swerved into his path.
