Skate Shop Owner Dies In Shooting

PatriotShawn Clark, the 39-year-old owner of Malden, Massachusetts’ Patriot Skateboards has died from gunshot wounds after a shooting in his retail store on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, according to a story on

Police responding to a call of shots fired at around 12:45 p.m. found Clark with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. . . Malden police and state police attached to the district attorney’s office are investigating the circumstances.

According to the manager of a nearby convenience store, two men were seen “running down a side street” following the shooting. Our thoughts are with Clark’s family and friends.
