Brixton continues in its march toward surf world domination by signing Florida’s Oliver Kurtz and San Clemente, California’s Tanner Rozunko to the “Brixton Union.”
“Oliver is a very progressive surfer, from big waves to little waves, its always fun to watch him push his surfing,” said Brixton Co-founder and Brand Manager David Stoddard. “He has a strong work ethic, is creative and loves to travel and we’re really looking forward to working with him. . . Tanner is everything Brixton represents,” said Stoddard. “He’s a natural fit and we’re psyched to have such a talented person in the family.”

Oceanside, CA (January, 3 2013) – We are excited to announce the addition of surfers Oliver Kurtz and Tanner Rozunko to the Brixton Union.
Born and raised in Vero Beach, Florida, Oliver, 22, grew up watching Florida natives like Kelly Slater, C.J. and Damien Hobgood and the Lopez brothers. Watching these riders inspired Oliver to pursue surfing himself and over the last couple of years he’s become a standout in the free surf world, recently landing the cover of TransWorld SURF and staring in Disillusion, a successful digital short by Sean Benik.

“I’m very excited to join Brixton,” said Kurtz. “We have a lot of fun projects on the horizon and I can’t wait to start working on them.”
Brixton is also excited to welcome Tanner Rozunko to the family. Hailing from San Clemente, California, Tanner, 19, grew up surfing beach breaks around his house with locals Kolohe Andino, Luke Davis, Ian Crane and Jeremy Carter and still surfs with them everyday. Known for his creative surfing and unique style, Tanner also spends a lot of his time skateboarding and playing music.
“Tanner is everything Brixton represents,” said Stoddard. “He’s a natural fit and we’re psyched to have such a talented person in the family.”
