The Burton Mountain Festival is the most extensive, interactive and inspired snowboard demo experience in North America and features four key elements with something for all ages. The first and most prominent feature is the Try Gear 2013 Burton demo, which will be at all stops on the tour. The new demo program will encourage riders to try out Burton’s newest 2013 boards, bindings and boots all for FREE.

Next, for kids as young as three-years-old, the Burton Mountain Festival will feature a Riglet Park where they can try snowboarding for FREE. Burton will provide snowboards, boots and bindings sized for the smallest kids to borrow at no charge, as well as offering Burton’s revolutionary Riglet Reel, a specially designed reel attached to the nose of youth snowboards that makes learning easier than ever. At the Riglet Parks, certified snowboard instructors will help kids learn to ride on mini features like boxes, ramps and rails.

In addition, this year’s Burton Mountain Festival will also encourage a little friendly competition in the park as Burton’s influential regional rep riders, the ‘Knowbuddies’, will be hosting a fun, grassroots competition called ‘It’s Know Contest’ at every stop. To stoke riders out, local Knowbuddies will post up at different park features on the mountain to giveaway Burton swag to those pulling off the most impressive tricks.

And finally, all Burton Mountain Festival stops will feature après entertainment with live music and fun activities to cap off a great day of riding. Stay tuned to www.burton.com/bmf for updates on après activities and to find out what’s happening at each stop.

Thanks to our presenting partner MINI and partners Mountain Dew, Mitch by Paul Mitchell, Snowboarder Magazine and anon. for their support of the second annual Burton Mountain Festival.
