Sam Page Back In The Water

by The Editors on February 10, 2008

0,,5880720,00A year ago Gold Coast surfer Sam Page was celebrating his 21st birthday when he was beaten into a coma by a club bouncer. Now, he’s back in the water.

Page cannot wait to take part in the Jim Beam Surftag Series at Cronulla beach this weekend which will feature the likes of surfing legend Tom Carroll.

Congrats Sam.

I’m so happy that i met this guy last night at the 101 Club in Cloud 9, Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte, Philippines. He is a very cool, nice guy very humble and down to earth. He was just simply hanging out with his friends last night.

Because the Billabong Open Surfing Competition was put on hold for two days (Oct 23-24) due to no wave’s to ride. I was bit disappointed because i live in Cagayan de Oro City its a 7 hours drive plus 2 hours boat ride to Siargao Island, but still worthed talking with Sam.

More power to him and more waves to ride!
