Kanes & Gonzalez Launch A PRJCT

Kanes JasonProduct designer Jason Kanes (right) has created loads of snowboard products over the years, most recently Omatic Snowboards with Todd Richards. Now Kanes has joined with long-time action sports attorney Marco Gonzalez of Coastal Law Group to launch a new action sports design studio and small business incubator called PRJCT.

A full service creative and technical design studio with substantial experience in materials sourcing and production logistics, PRJCT is particularly poised to assist private label brands to enhance existing product offerings and bring new ones to market smoothly and efficiently. Jason remarks, “We focus our work with design teams, product innovators, merchandisers, and executives to achieve consistent results, on deadline, and within established budgets.”

After almost a year of planning, veteran product designer Jason Kanes and industry attorney & entrepreneur Marco Gonzalez have partnered to launch PRJCT LLC, a novel action sports design studio and small business incubator.

By merging Jason’s creativity and engineer’s product development and manufacturing mindset with Marco’s business consultation and legal representation, PRJCT is poised to offer a truly unique suite of services to a wide range of companies – from the first time startup considering the intricacies of corporate formation and overseas manufacturing, to the established industry mainstay looking to create a new product line or image overhaul. PRJCT’s strategic creative and media partners include some of the industry’s top independent professionals in the industry.

Jason Kanes, COO has been designing and manufacturing award-winning snowboards and other products for the action sports industry since the early 90’s. He is best known as a founder of Omatic Snowboards (with Todd Richards) and developer/manager with innovator Joyride snowboards during its heyday.

Marco Gonzalez, CEO, is the founder and managing partner of Coast Law Group LLP, a premiere environmental and action sports law firm in Encinitas, California.
