Tipping Barrels: Surfing BC’s Great Bear

by The Editors on December 8, 2011

Never thought about surfing Beautiful British Columbia Canada? Watch Ben Gulliver’s new film Tipping Barrels and you just might change your mind.

‘Tipping Barrels’ is a unique combination of surfing and environmental journalism that follows surfers Arran and Reid Jackson on a trip into the heart of the Great Bear Rainforest, where they learn more about the region and the issues confronting it.

It’s got surfing, hippies, bears, and camping. What more could you ask for?

Don’t get me wrong I watched the whole thing, but some of the most mediocre waves I’ve ever seen in a surf video. Kind of makes me want to go there to camp/fish/look at cool wildlife and hopefully score better surf than they did.
