DC Gets Unbound Advertising Rights

Dc LogoDC Shoes announced today that they have brokered a deal with Mammoth Mountain that will allow the Huntington Beach, California footwear company to put logos all over the mountain’s Unbound terrain parks.

“The choice to work with DC is a no-brainer for Mammoth Unbound. We both share a commitment to the core athlete without sacrificing access to snow sports for new entrants. We couldn’t be more excited about what this partnership will bring to our terrain parks in both features and events,” said Mammoth Mountain Public Relations Specialist, Eric Meyers.

DC will provide footwear for mountain staff and branding for Unbound Terrain Parks

December 1, 2011 – Huntington Beach, CA – DC has signed on to become the official footwear sponsor for Mammoth Mountain’s UNBOUND Terrain Parks. In addition to supporting the park staff with DC shoes and snowboard boots, DC will also be represented with custom signage and unique DC branded features.

Located only a few hours from DC’sheadquarters in Huntington Beach, Mammoth Mountain has one of the longest seasons in North America. Couple that with Mammoth’s world-class Unbound Terrain Parks and exceptional park staff, Mammoth gives DC and its athletes a perfect venue to train and shoot.

“Strategically, Mammoth is an ideal place for us to tell the DC snowboarding story and work with a skilled park crew to both test our products and the boundaries of what they can build with and for our athletes. It also gives our team an extra couple of months each year to film on custom built terrain and features,” said Brian Cassaro, Director of Marketing for DC Snow.

The DC and Mammoth Mountain partnership officially kicked off on Mammoth’s opening weekend with DC riders Devun Walsh and Lauri Heiskari hosting the premier of TB20 and Good Look, followed by an autograph signing the next day in the village.

Mammoth staff has already been wearing DC snow gear, and snowboarders can expect to see DC branding and features in the Unbound Terrain Park in the next few months.
