Transworld Media Rehires Monica Campana

Skatecover4Former Transworld Media employee Monica Campana is back at T-Dub as the Publisher of Transworld Skateboarding after leaving a similar position nearly six years ago.

After serving nearly ten years with TransWorld Media from 1996 – 2005, Monica Campana is back on board, as Publisher for TransWorld SKATEboarding.

At TransWorld, Monica will be taking on TransWorld SKATEboarding’s advertising initiatives, reporting directly to Marc Fiore VP of Sales & Marketing. Monica will manage the skate sales staff and work closely with the marketing and editorial teams to ensure that as TransWorld SKATEboarding embarks on its 30th volume, it remains the number one skateboarding media brand in the industry.

Following her prior tenure with TransWorld, Monica held the role as Publisher and Sales Director of FOAM Magazine, overseeing advertising, circulation and marketing across all media platforms of the publication, and responsible for double digit growth in the brand’s overall sales and distribution. Monica also worked as Brand Manager for Salinas Swimwear, enabling her to grow and improve her knowledge of the manufacturing and vendor side of business, in addition to gaining a non-media perspective of marketing, advertising and production.
