Debbie Hodges Resigns From ESA

by The Editors on June 24, 2011

Esa Logo-1Debbie Hodges, the major driving force of the Eastern Surfing Association, has announced that she is resigning as executive director effective September 30, 2011, according to a press release on Surfline.

“It was with sadness that the ESA Executive Committee accepted Ms. Hodges resignation, and it won’t be an easy task finding a replacement,” said Tom Warnke, Chairman of the ESA Board of Directors. “Debbie was always looking for ways to help the competitors become winners and champions, and we thank her for her many years of dedication and service to the organization,” he added.

Kind of hard to imagine the ESA without Hodges, but it has been a rough year. Click the link for the rest of the story.
