Last night (June 12, 2011) Girl Skateboards in association with the Levi’s Film Workshop premiered their new Ty Evans directed short 3-D skateboard film Unbeleafable along with a retrospective of Girl films from the past at Los Angeles, California’s Downtown Independent Theater.
Afterwards, director Ty Evans and various members of the crew took to the stage to answer questions from the audience. The panel included Vincent Alvarez, one of the film’s skaters; Ian Spohr, the film’s stereographer; Marc Ritzema, the Director of Photography; Roham Rahmanian, 3D Producer; and Federico Vitetta, the film’s producer. The team discussed how the concept of the film came to fruition, the custom-created score from M83 and how they were able to pull off an incredible project in a short amount of time.
Following the Q&A everyone went to the roof top for a small, chill after party. Follow the jump for more of Mikey Tnasuttimonkol’s photos from the evening.
