Zumiez CFO On The Way Out

Zumiez-NotaglineZumiez CFO Trevor Lang has reportedly resigned from his position at the core mall retailer effective in June 2011, according to a story on Reuters.

Lang, who has been with the company for four years, also resigned as chief administrative officer and secretary. . . Zumiez . . has started looking for a suitable successor.

The street apparently misses him already as the stock was down 2 percent in after hours trading.

My comment had nothing to do with Zumiez.

Most forms of media are smoke and mirrors.

Zumiez is a great retailer, with a ton of cash in the bank.

Zumiez is not on the same course to be another Active….

Our greatest fear is not the health of 1 retailer, it’s the fear of the unknown.

wasnt there a recent article floating around the interwebs about how Zumiez was using some fishy accounting tricks to hide some of their depts.

maybe less than two months later the CFO is out, seems like some smoke and mirrors are definitly in play here, and i am not refering to the media.
