We are blown away by how little we know about the FIS Snowboard World Cup. It’s like some kind of parallel snowboard universe. But apparently, Manuela Laura Pesko is the current FIS World Cup Halfpipe Champion and she has recently announced her retirement from competitive snowboarding.
I want to stop as the current world champion in halfpipe and at the high point in my competitive career,” Pesko said on her official Web site. “I have received interesting film and advertising contracts from my sponsors that offer me a second sporting career.”
We only have one question: who is she?
