We rolled by the Etnies Skateboard Park in Lake Forest, CA on Saturday afternoon to check out the festivities. Early on it looked like the weather was going to shut the entire 2008 Etnies GVR contest as rain totally slicked out the park only moments before the official start. The crowd ran for cover, but they didn’t leave.
After some deft squeegee and leaf blowers work the skatepark crew got the entire street course dried up and back in action.
It was a great Saturday in the park. Bad Religion brought back all kinds of memories while Hyper Crush made us think back to the future.
