Two men have been arrested for the August 16, 2006 fire that destroyed ramps near the site of Virginia Beach’s world famous Mt. Trashmore Ramp and caused $400,000 in damages, according to a story on The Daily Press.
Battalion chief Tim Riley identified the two suspects as “former Green Run High School students” who are not being identified because they were juveniles at the time of the fire. Riley said the two males, who currently live in Richmond, are charged with unlawful burning of a structure. . . A spokeswoman for the commonwealth’s attorney’s office said no decision has been made about whether to charge the suspects as adults.

You are referring to the vert ramp from the 80s….that doesn’t exist anymore as far as I know. They had since built a skatepark with wooden bowl and other ramps and obstacles as well as a new vert ramp. It was mainly the wooden bowl that caught fire. But that world famous ramp that the bones brigade skated…that probably got torn down along time ago. The park now has been completely rebuilt again since March 2007.
