Not really sure why a snowboarder who is most accustom to racing down a fence-lined course would need a two-piece GPS unit with satellite texting capabilities, but that hasn’t stopped snowboardrcross double gold medalist Seth Wescott from stepping up as the new face of the Earthmate PN-60w with SPOT Satellite Communicator from DeLorme.

You’re not really sure why Wescott would use this? What are you, stupid? Wescott spends at least a month in AK every year and boardercross is far from his sole connection to snowboarding. In essence, the dude has soul, not because of his boardercross exploits, but because he’s what a true snowboarder is…..dedicated and passionate about riding big mountains and any type of terrain. Get a clue and stop pigeonholing boardercrossers as race geeks. Stoked that Wescott can be a pro snowboarder without all the hype and bs. I’d be fired up to have a GPS sponsor, wouldn’t you?
