Snowboarder Joshua Hernandez, 27, of Mammoth Lakes died from injuries he sustained after hitting a rail in a Mammoth Mountain terrain park and then crashing into a fence on Friday March 12, 2010, according to a story in the San Jose Mercury News.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Jennifer Hansen says Hernandez went home but later felt extreme pain and went to the hospital. . . He was treated for internal bleeding but went into cardiac arrest. The hospital staff tried to save him but were unsuccessful.
Our thoughts are with Hernandez’s family and friends.

this is late news to me:did not like the first comment,my heart feels so so sad for his family,please people when you see a friend get hurt but say their fine go to the hospital,a call from my sons friends did just that,
