Billabong Buys Into Surfstitch.com

Billabong Logo-1After buying Swell.com in the US it appears that Billabong is looking to pick up Surfstitch.com, an Australian online surf retailer, according to a story in the Sydney Morning Herald Billabong.

Billabong International Ltd says it has entered into a conditional agreement to acquire an interest in online board sports retailer, Surfstitch. . . The agreement will allow Billabong acquire a minority equity interest in Surfstitch, with options to acquire 100 per cent of the business.

Add one more right move to Billabong’s growing list.

Billabong has had their hands in Surfstitch.com since the begining. Everyone has know about it. It is only just coming public about things now for some reason. It has been so widely know since before it started.
