Shaun White Number One Qualifier at Copper

by The Editors on December 11, 2009

Grandprix Logo-1Looks like Shaun White is keeping his 2010 Olympic program right on track by qualifying at the US Snowboard Grand Prix at Copper Mountain in the top spot and edging second place Louie Vito by .9 of a point. Both reportedly corked their double doubles so it is on.

“I’ve got a few different spins I’m going to mix up, but I just want to keep it consistent. I was already in, which was all I cared about,” Vito said. “I think Shaun felt the same way. It’s always practice and you’ve just got to step it up, take it up another notch and just get ready for tomorrow.”
