In addition to Taylor and Prod, the brand lists a who’s who of action icons including snowboarder Todd Richards, surfers Taylor Knox, Dusty Payne, Josh Kerr, Laura Enever, Chase Wilson, Dane Zuan, shaper Chris Christenson, skateboarders Sean Malto, Bryan Herman, Chris Miller, Omar Salazar, Bryan “Slash” Hansen, Shane O’Neill, filmmaker Derek Dunfee, photographer Atiba Jefferson, and outdoorsman Jeff Johnson.

With that stacked a promotional arsenal, we’re guessing the word will get out pretty fast. Here’s what Archer says the brand is all about:

World Industries + Keep A Breast Foundation

by The Editors on April 10, 2013

Andrewcannon

World Industries is announcing their new shoe partnership with the Keep A Breast Foundation in which the company will have shoes manufactured with the “I heart boobies” logo right there on the bottom of the shoe as Andrew Cannon is so thoughtfully modeling.

“We are excited to collaborate with The Keep A Breast Foundation, an organization that supports a cause that is very close to me and my family,” said Scott Chantos, President, World Industries and recently elected Keep A Breast Foundation Board Member. “My mother and aunt are both breast cancer survivors so I know how important early detection is. I love what Shaney jo and her team are doing at KAB and we wanted to create a product to promote awareness for the cause and contribute a portion of the proceeds to help fund programs that encourage a healthy lifestyle.”

The footwear line, which includes men’s and women’s models, will debut in select retail outlets in September 2013 for $50 a pair. For more details, follow the jump.

Stefan Janoski + Official = Ambient Camper

by The Editors on April 9, 2013

Official Janoski

This new Stefan Janoski x Official collab the “All Mesh Camper” may be nice and cool for skateboarding, but just think how great that visor would work for late night poker games?

Official has paired with living skateboard legend and eclectic artist/fashion designer, Stefan Janoski to bring you one of the our most unique collections to date. This capsule collection was actively designed and developed by Stefan himself. He really pushed the envelope on our detailing (peep the ambient visor!) while still keeping solid the pillars of Official’s signature shapes and designs.

The Camper retails for $32.00 and is available along with the rest of Janoski’s designs in the Official online store.

by The Editors on April 8, 2013

The-Hundreds-X-Grateful-Dead-Steal-Your-Face-Tank

The Hundreds X Grateful Dead is perhaps one of our most exciting endeavors to date. The collection comprises a full range of graphic tees, tanks, specialty shirts (one raglan and one button-up), sweatshirts, a jacket, hats (one snapback and one beanie), a sneaker (limited to 100 pairs), a keychain and a sticker pack––featuring original The Hundreds graphics inspired by the band’s illustriously eclectic aesthetic, as well as a recurring tie-dye motif. View a sampling of the collection below, available 4/20.

Lit Action Tracker Raising Funds

by The Editors on April 3, 2013

Ricardo Camargo of Vapor Studio, just tipped us in on a new project he’s working on called Lit, by NZN labs. Lit is an action tracker that no only keeps track of all your walking and running, but also surfing, snowboarding, and skateboarding and pulls it all together for some social competition as well. Camargo and his partners are currently trying to raise $100,000 for the project on a site called Indigogo.

LIT’s advanced sensors analyze your movements 24×7, scoring both activity and action by interpreting steps, distance, duration, intensity, strokes, paddles, jumps, rotations, turns, g-force, airtime, and more. . . Earn points for activity and bonuses for action. Points become the currency used to challenge yourself, your friends, and the world. . . LIT is 24×7 wearable and built to go where you go. Snow, surf, dirt, pavement? No problem. LIT is built for extremes. It’s rugged, shock resistant, and water resistant to 10 ATM / 100 m.

NZN Labs has already raised $27,000 but in the next 30 days they need going to need $70,000 more. To see how you can participate and help make Lit a reality, click the link.

Lost Goes Banzai With Aluminum Cruisers

by The Editors on March 13, 2013

Lost Banzai

Confession: our first “real” skateboard was a purple, anodized aluminum Banzai Skateboard. Got it for Christmas after dreaming about it for months. It had both nose and tail kick long before it was cool. It rolled smoothly and quietly and it hooked us for life. Every feeling of stoke we had for that board, came flooding back when we saw Lost’s new Hesher Metal Cruisers. It appears we’re not the only one’s with anodized aluminum fantasies.

“The earliest memories from my skateboarding days in the 70’s are of riding my Banzai aluminum double kick skateboard,” said Matt “Mayhem” Biolos. “Flashy fun from the past is the polar opposite of all the plastic stuff so many brands are putting out. We wanted to do something special and exquisite.”

And it seems they have. The boards come in four anodized colors with laser cut logos, translucent, color-matched wheels, and die cut grip. The Hesher Metal Cruisers are sold only as completes for $149 a pop. Banzai, indeed.
