Yep. Apparently, Alana Smith became the second girl ever to do a McTwist. We’re not really into glorifying trick progression, but sure a 12-year-old girl landing a trick that guys have been doing for 28 years is good right? It happened at Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the “exposed” women’s skate contest at the YMCA in San Diego. Congrats, Alana. You’re good.

Let’s face it. The Weekend Buzz was built for Dustin Dollin and we can’t believe it’s taken so long to get his belly up to Rob Brink and Erica Yary’s bar. Guy could probably be on the show every week without running out of stories (or mixes). That’s probably why this episode is only part one with Beagle. Check it.

Appalachian Boarder has posted some turns from what was dropped when Superstorm Sandy turned into a blizzard in Garrett County, Maryland. The storm powered in 33 inches of freshness during the night of October 30, 2012 and Bruce Persinger went out and got a piece of it in the Frankenstorm edit.

Eureka, California Surfer Scott Stephens is glad to be alive today after going through surgery to repair serious damage to his torso after getting hit by a juvenile great white shark on Tuesday, October 30, 2012. If it weren’t for the guys who helped get him to the hospital and the doctors who sewed him up he’d just be another sad statistic. We are super stoked for him and hope he recovers quickly.
