Z-Flex Skateboards and stylish men’s grooming products Uppercut Deluxe and collaborated on a skateboard that comes with two combs and some quality pomade.
“We are so proud to be able to collab with Z-Flex on this Mr Chipper Deluxe model. I remember one of the very first skate photos I saw as a kid was Jay Adams on a Z-Flex board which always sticks in my mind as pure and raw skateboarding; when style and attitude was everything! It’s so rad to come together and create this board years later to combine our passions of skateboarding and barbering in a slick and destroy model!”- says, Luke Newman, one of the founders of Uppercut Deluxe.

Matix Clothing worked with Tyler Surfboard’s Tyler Hatzikian on a spring 2013 collection that they say offers up “timeless style, performance, hot rod culture and surfings roots.”
Tyler Hatzikian has over 25-years of commitment to improving his skills as both a shaper and glasser. Tyler’s surfboards are not only far from replica, they are developing a reputation of being iconic on their own. He is proud to carry on the planer after following the footsteps of the legendary craftsmen of his local surf community in the South Bay.
The collection sounds right on target. Now we just have to survive the winter before we get our hands on it.

Former Billabong CEO Derek O’Neill and his wife Nikki are reportedly selling their “Beachbreak Cauarina” home located only 15 minutes from the Coolangatta Airport. The home is pretty plush, according to a post on Property Observer.
The 2005 Paul Uhlmann designed home has spacious indoor and outdoor entertaining options behind its formal entrance complete with Frangipani trees. . . The main kitchen and living areas feature beautiful New Guinea Rosewood cabinetry, eight metre high ceilings, chocolate quartz tiles and a mixture of electric blinds and windows to maximise natural light and airflow. . . Along with the spacious master suite, there are an additional three guest bedrooms upstairs as well as a fourth ensuited guest bedroom on the ground floor. . . The lock-up garage can park seven cars. The gardens comes with pool and firepit.
Looks like the kind of house you’d only leave if you had too. Asking price is something over $5 million AUS. In other words, it’s a steal. Anyone? For more photos click the link.

Zumiez Grim on the left Tillys Grim on the right.
In the never ending battle to look core, Volcom has announced some “exclusive” shoes with both Tilly’s and Zumiez. You know, to make the retail outlets feel good about Volcom’s other larger retail channels. Apparently, the Grim Mid is exclusively available at Tillys.com and the Grim Black & Charcoal Suede Shoe is available only at Zumiez. We can’t really tell the shoes apart, but apparently Volcom is expecting shoppers to make the pilgrimage to one store or the other to get the model they want. What? It could happen. We can’t all wear Vans or Nikes.
