Adenda Show Dominates In Las Vegas

by The Editors on February 28, 2014

Agendalv

Times have never been better for the Agenda Tradeshow. Las Vegas was a hit (or so we’ve heard from multiple sources). Agenda WMNS killed, the WOODS went off, and it seems no one is happier than the hardworking king of street, skate, and surf culture networking, Agenda founder Aaron Levant.

“Last year’s inaugural launch surpassed our expectations. We came back to bring the AGENDA experience to Vegas for a second year, and couldn’t be more excited about it,” Levant said. “Many of the brands were unsatisfied with the existing Vegas show format. After entering Vegas last August, we have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both retailers and brands. Returning to Las Vegas was a no brainer.”

by The Editors on February 27, 2014

Vans Bands

Hey all you aging punk rawkers! Vans just made your day with a re-release of four of their most iconic band collaborations. That’s right they will be re-issuing 150 pairs of each of their Circle Jerks, Motörhead II, Bad Brains, and Rise Against shoes March 12 through 15, 2014 as part of their SXSW Music Festival promotions.

Each re-issue has a total of 150 pairs with 50 being sold exclusively at the pop-up shop inside the Vans Village at noon during SXSW with an additional sale of 100 pairs on Vans.com the following day. The limited re-release of these iconic band shoes is only the second time Vans has allowed the reproduction of archived band collaborations. The first came from Vans’ Vulcanized Vinyl pop-up boutique that opened during the 2012 SXSW Music Festival.

If you’re into these collectable, follow the jump for all the details. With only 100 on Vans.com they will probably go fast. [click to continue…]

Adidas Rewrites Stan Smith’s Legacy

by The Editors on February 18, 2014

Watch, laugh, cry, and then go buy the same pair of shoes that you always buy. And if they’re adidas, score one for the snarky adidas marketing team!
