Big mountain snowboarding legend Jussi Oksanen’s water bottle company Mizu has teamed up with our favorite action wedding ring company Qalo to create new custom bottles that show your commitment to anything or one you’re committed too. The insulated stainless steel bottles come in three colors and two sizes (20 and 27 ounce).
The bottles come with the words “I am committed to” and you fill in the rest up to 12 characters. They are available starting at $37.95 and will arrive in about seven days. Pretty cool deal, for real. And, if you wear a wedding ring pick up a couple rings while you’re at it. They are that rad.
It’s reportedly been 10 years in the making, but one thing we can say about the adidas Skateboarding Busenitz Pure Boost Pro is that these things are red, red, red.
The new Busenitz Pure BOOST Pro – Red features a premium red mesh upper and embroidered detailing that exudes style, function and comfort. A full-length pure BOOST™ midsole is the cushioning focal point of a model that boasts the next generation in adidas Skateboarding and Busenitz footwear.
And, these Dennis Busenitz sig shoes are red. Did anyone mention that yet? For the official red word from adidas Skateboarding, please follow the jump.

Neither of the guys in the photo above are Tim Swart, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t stoked to pass on the news that Pretty Great Company (the parent of SLVDR, Bonfire, Sessions, and Nikita) has just named the founder and former creative director of UNIV as their new marketing director.
“Based off the fact that Tim was SLVDR’s first dealer, he has a deep history with the brand. With his decades of snowboarding he has lived all facets of the snow industry. Also with his marketing and creative experience from start-ups to bigger brands, Tim is a solid asset to lead our marketing efforts for the brands,” says Rob Myers, Pretty Great President.
Good news for Pretty Great Company. For the official word, please follow the jump.

Don’t even think that the only parties Vans throws are in high and dry swimming pools. No, they throw house parties, too. And the this summer run of parties kicks off on May 19, 2016 with Jon Hopkins, The Black Madonna, and The Field at The House of Vans Brooklyn.
In partnership with FYF, the 2016 Vans House Parties offer a rare opportunity to experience some of the best live music programming out there in a truly unique and historical art setting that celebrates Vans’ rich “Off The Wall” heritage in one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world.
And to us it’s just a great free show. For the official word from Vans (and how to RSVP), click the link. [click to continue…]
