Anyone Have A Million Bucks?

Advita Wear

Seems like nearly every action sports business could use a million dollar cash infusion, but very few are doing what Chris Saydah is doing. He’s listing his financial needs on NuWire Investor a website that helps connect people with money with those who need it.

Strength Distribution is planned to be a Salt Lake City, Utah company based around the Swiss urban clothing company Advita. We are currently seeking funding. . . The founder is a 10yr industry veteran, with solid and tasteful experience in marketing and management. . . Strength in a turnkey operation and will run as a distribution, marketing and fulfillment company.

Ask and ye shall receive. . .

“with solid and tasteful experience in marketing and management. . .”

hah ha hah hah! If a massive chip on your shoulder and a bad attitude translate to the quote above, then yes Sayduh, you deserve that million.

good luck pal.

not sure where you or this site is getting your figures from with “N/A” listed in the nuwire post.. sounds great though, i guess?

“tundra” if you’re going to try and call me out or make claims on me personally in a public arena, at least use your real name..
if you have anything to say to me or about me, feel free to contact me direct.
my email is in that link. although, i’m doubting i’ll hear from you by name “pal”.

as far as what’s posted and written for/about me by one of my business advisors within the NuWire post, i feel my past work and involvement in the industry speaks quite positively for itself.
i was actually not aware till now that he had posted it in the first place.. which seems to be earlier last month by the date.

last i checked, seeking funding for a good project within industries that need new blood and have done a lot for me, was not considered a bad thing………

much respect, to those who’ve earned it and deserve it..

I mean this would be the best time ever to put a cool million up front …….so someone can distribute over priced wack clothing. Economic downturns really spur clothing sales for sure! Even more so when when it’s a brand that you never herd of and a team that you never herd of and aren’t really even sure what they do (skate? freestyle walk?) From there website it looks like they have about 3 tee’s 1 hoody and a fitted hat in there collection.

Yea, a cool mill sounds fair.

yep, thats what they said about nixon in 97 too. risk 2 gain

Yea they said that about Nixon, but that’s a totally different type of situation. Nixon filled a void in the industry basically creating there own market. Like Skull Candy is doing now. So yes they could have failed miserably, but since there wasn’t already 1000 “action sports watch company’s” when they did blow up…they blew up HUGE.

Sadly, I don’t think this is going to be the case for Advita, I mean how many clothing company’s have gone belly up in the past year. That or are 50% to 75% down and cleaning house with most of there workforce. Not the best time to be asking for money to help run a brand..

Just say’en

please dont bring the words skull or candy into this.. they couldnt give a shit about what anyone thinks in the snow, skate or surf markets whether it be on the retail or consumer side of things..
that’s a company started by and still run by mormon skiers in park city that doesnt even take care of the riders/athletes that allowed them the eventual facetime with best buy / big box businesses..

if you’re being sincere by saying “sadly, i dont think this is the case for advita”.. it’s appreciated. if not, oh well.. none of you use your real names so we could care less.
other than that, the views here of advita and anything we plan on doing through strength distribution as a whole, shows just how little anyone knows of it or how little one can learn from a few sentences on a web page or a website of a very young european based brand created by riders and skaters.
we know where we come from but, we’re also smart enough not to be solely based in seasonal industries or only in action sports for that matter.
trust me, i’m not blind. it hasnt been an easy process and, it began prior to the economy puking on it’s own shoes..

thanks for playin, we hope to see everyone soon.
