Image002-9After walking the packed aisles of the Agenda NYC show last week in Soho it is no surprise that organizers are now calling it the “most successful New York show since its inception in 2003.”

“The biggest highlight of this show is the new location,” said Aaron Levant, Agenda President. “This is one of the biggest fashion hubs in the world and being so central has really helped boost the attendance and importance. We’re just scratching the surface.”

New Location Boasted Greatest New York Attendance

New York (July 2012) – The Agenda Trade Show returned to New York on July 16 and 17, proving to be one of Agenda’s most successful New York shows since its inception in 2003. With its new location in the middle of SOHO at 82 Mercer, the two-story lifestyle, action sports, and street culture show was swarmed with top retailers and exhibitors.
“The biggest highlight of this show is the new location,” said Aaron Levant, Agenda President. “This is one of the biggest fashion hubs in the world and being so central has really helped boost the attendance and importance. We’re just scratching the surface.”

The show featured more than 150 brands, top names represented at the show included Obey, Vans, Skull Candy, Nike, The Hundreds, Diamond, Stussy, Herschel Supply Co., Brixton, LRG, The Berrics, RVCA, Undftd, Staple and Ice Cream.

Key retailers in attendance included PacSun, Urban Outfitters, Jack Threads, Karmaloop, Jacks Surf, DTLR, Steven Alan, Saks 5th Avenue, Macy’s, Zumiez, Bloomingdale’s, Bodega and CCS being among those represented in the first hour alone.

“Agenda New York was a great show – the venue was ideal and all the right brands were there- from street to lifestyle, everyone you wanted to see was under one roof,” said Mike Viscusi, Director of Brands for PacSun. “The location was great too. Right in the middle of SOHO so you could check out all the represented brands after the show.”

Additional new partnership activations featured were a Figure Nineteen private speakeasy pop up bar on both floors, Sons Vintage by Alex James and Brian Procell Vintage, music from DJ Price and Omari , Basecamp by Flexfit featuring Jeff Hamada of BOOOOOOOM Artists, Dos Toros, and free coffee from Brooklyn Roasting Company.

“Agenda New York is a great centralized place where we can see mostly every brand that is relevant to our market,” said Dohnn Ball, head men’s buyer for Karmaloop. “We really enjoy attending the show, and feel it will only grow further.”

Proving agility and endurance in a tough economic climate, the independently owned Agenda has established itself as the benchmark for lifestyle, action sports, and street culture trade shows. Next up for Agenda is the show in Long Beach which will be held August 1 and 2 at the Long Beach Convention Center.
