by The Editors on August 31, 2011

As Snb Fis-Lewis 300Here’s some shocking news from the International Olympic Committee and Federation Internationale de Ski. It appears that when it comes to qualifications for Olympic slopestyle the FIS is operating as usual, according to Melissa Larsen story on ESPN.com/Action.

This news indicates that the FIS executive committee has chosen to disregard the work of a joint task force that was established this past May by members of FIS Snowboarding, FIS National Associations, athletes, judges and the TTR to address the Olympic qualification processes for snowboarding.

That’s kind of how we figured it would turn out. Click the link for the rest of the story.
